1. How long will it take to get my order?

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Delivery times will depend on your location. You’ll receive full tracking and delivery details in your confirmation email.

2. What delivery options do you offer?
We currently offer store pick-up and local delivery to the following areas:
Kangaroo Valley, Southern Highlands, Albion Park, Jamberoo, Kiama, Berry, and Nowra.

1. Why Retired Dairy Beef?

We choose to use retired dairy cows because it’s a more sustainable, respectful, and flavourful way to produce beef.

Sustainability

Dairy cows typically live longer lives than traditional beef cattle. By finishing them properly — on pasture and quality supplements — we give them a valuable second purpose, reducing waste and making the most of animals already part of the food system.

Flavour

Older animals develop richer, more complex beef flavour, especially when given time to rest and finish on good grass. The result? Biltong with depth, character, and a real meaty bite — not bland supermarket stuff.

Animal Welfare

We work with farms that prioritise ethical treatment and low-stress handling. These cows are retired from milking, then finished carefully before processing — not rushed through a feedlot system.

2. What is biltong?

Biltong is a traditional South African dried meat snack, similar to jerky but with key differences. It's air-dried (not cooked), marinated in vinegar and spices, and typically softer, richer in flavour, and less sweet than jerky. It’s high in protein, low in sugar, and seriously addictive.
